About the tour
To understand Siena, you need to plunge into the atmosphere of the districts contending for the city supremacy during the Palio, held every year on July 2 and August 16. My Tour in Tuscany propose a tour to discover one of these “cities in the city”, showing you the baptismal font of each Contrada, the church for the blessing of the horse, the museum that houses the memories, the square where they organize dinners and all the remote corners that have a special meaning in relation to the preparation of the race. In fact, in Siena, the Palio lasts all year round and the two races are only the epilogue of a “spy story” that includes negotiations, deception, alliances, betrayals and high hopes. Moreover, in the days immediately preceding the Palio, we can arrange special tours, to be agreed with your guide.
