San Gimignano: in the Palace of the Lord

Guided tour of the City Hall of San Gimignano, which in medieval times was the seat of the Podestà (the Lord of the place). You can admire some interesting frescoes, such as those dedicated to Charles of Anjou in Dante Hall (the old hall of the city council), the Majesty made by Lippo Memmi and the special decoration of the bedroom of the Podestà, where shows some very funny scenes of profane love. During the tour you will visit also the Pinacoteca (art gallery) with works by Benozzo Gozzoli, Filippo Lippi and Pinturicchio. Finally, it is worth taking a few minutes to access the Torre Grossa, where you can enjoy a splendid view over the rooftops of the city, the surrounding countryside of the Val d’Elsa, and up to the mountains of Pistoia and the Apuan Alps.

From November to February, 50% discount on parking for tourist buses of schoolchildren.
