On July 2, the famous horse race will be held in the beautiful setting of a crowded Piazza del Campo.
These are the ten Contrade that will run the next Palio: Giraffa, Chiocciola, Drago, Tartuca, Selva, Bruco, Aquila, Lupa, Pantera, Onda.
Oca was the winning Contrada of the “Palio di Provenzano” 2013 (so it is called the race of 2 July, while the race of 16 August is called “Palio dell’Assunta”).
This is the perfect opportunity to get to know all the magic that surrounds the Palio and which involves Siena 365 days a year. Come to Siena to experience the “four days of the Palio,” from June 29 to July 2.
